No news is no news

This is what we woke to Monday. C spoke to his dad and brother and was surprised to hear that no one was going to pick them up. No one has heard from them since.
After all that has happened and all of the chances they've been given, this is the right choice, difficult as it is.
It's like they're asking to get up from their time out.
I'd like to get up from my time out now.
